About Us
The Old Laundry is managed in partnership with Hyde Housing and local organisations, particularly The Stockwell Gardens Tenants & Residents Ass. and Young People Matter charity.
In August 2023, The Old Laundry reopened following a major renovation. Hyde's multi-million-pound investment included asbestos removal, refurbished community and office spaces, and landscaped outdoor areas. Young People Matter, which has supported the local area since 2007, continues to play a central role in the building and wider community.
The TRA has a long history of vibrant resident involvement at local and strategic levels and welcomes the opportunity to further improve services and conditions within the local community.
We currently represent over 2000 households!
Our TRA is made from a diverse cross-section of Stockwell residents, including members from other local orgs. and charities.

The Chair is the spokesperson for the group and makes sure that the meetings are run effectively.

The Treasurer looks after the money. Stephen also leads on the hire of the hall.

The Vice-Chair stands in for the Chair when necessary and provides administrative support. He or she also represents the views of the group at other meetings
