Cash 4 Communities - Hyde Residents
At our recent TRA meeting, a representative from Hyde Housing introduced their latest innitative: Cash 4 Communities which is Hyde Plus’ new community grants programme for Hyde residents. The new grants programme is designed to support and nurture resident led projects.

Grants up to £500
WHY?
"Very often housing associations impose their own agenda onto grants programmes like these. Cash 4 Communities is different because our main aim is to increase agency and energy amongst our residents" says Hyde Housing.
Groups of residents are free to apply for funding for whatever project they feel would benefit their community. Grants are up to £500, judged by panels of local residents. As well as the money to fund the project, Hyde offer support and guidance from a dedicated mentor who can help to ensure groups are delivering the best project they can.
